• Steve's Famous Weiners

  Originally named Bill's Famous Weiners, Steve took over the business when Bill stepped aside. Steve continues the weiner tradition, grilling under-cooked and over-priced weiners. Each weiner comes loaded with lots of condiments, even if you don't want them all (just don't try to scrape any off, the weiner may explode). Watch out for viruses in the under-cooked weiner ... they can be deadly.

  This delicious dog is slow cooked by hundreds of local culinary students. While our students learn the art of Doug's Dirty Dogs, you get a free hot dog, all you pay for is the bun. PS - if you want the recipe, all you have to do is ask.

  That's right Doug's Dirty Dogs does burgers! Not only do we do burgers we do Dirty Burgers! We take the best Ground Beef and roll it through the garden. Easy now don't panic! There's no wussy veggies on this hunk-a-chunk of burning meat. We really just roll it through the garden. It contains twice the minerals as non-rolled beef served at our competition!

  OOPS, we many times drop our pickles, but you know what they say waste not want not. And around here we love our Gritty Pickles. The perfect combination of sour pickle and floor grit. We toss them in the fridge for a few weeks and when they're just the right shade of black. POOM! A Gritty Pickle . . . the perfect appitizer. I ask you how better to prepare for a dirty dog than with a gritty pickle?

* Casu Marzu cheese or maggot cheese is actually a round of pecorino cheese filled with thousands of cute little maggots. These little guys give this delicacy a unique , tangy flavor by repeatedly eating and excreting the cheese. You haven't tasted cheese till you've had one of this little buggers pop against the roof of your mouth. The inclusion of this rare delicacy was inspired by a trip my lovely Sweatlanna and I made to Sardinia in Italy.
